The role of nutrition to enhance sports performance.
Kevin is responsible for leading the development of the Performance Nutrition service at the EIS. Overseeing a team of 22, he works across a range of Olympic, Paralympic and professional sports throughout England.
Kevin has worked with the Great Britain Triathlon team for over six years and was part of the support team which helped the athletes achieve the sports first Olympic medals at London 2012. In addition, he has also supported the Great Britain Canoe Slalom and Short Track Speed Skating teams. An experienced Lead Performance Nutritionist, Kevin provides the GSK Human Performance Lab with both a research-based and practical understanding of cutting edge performance nutrition and the impact it can have on world-class athletes.
Kevin holds BSc in Sports Science from Liverpool John Moores University, a MSc in Sports Physiology from Sheffield University and a PhD in Sports Science from Birmingham University. In addition, he was awarded a Diploma from the International Olympic Committee in Sports Nutrition.
